About

Society, media and those closest to us have an idea of what Therapy (or Counselling) is and what it should look like and what must be achieved. The truth is that therapy is what you want it to be, it looks different for each person. My view is that therapy is a space where you come to make sense of it all.

Aaron Walton
Hi, I'm Aaron

As a dedicated psychotherapist, I am passionate about empowering individuals to overcome challenges and achieve psychological wellness. With a focus on creating a safe and non-judgmental space, I work collaboratively with my clients to explore their emotions, thoughts, and behaviours. My goal is to facilitate personal insights and facilitate positive changes, leading to a more meaningful and balanced life.

Sessions with me are relaxed. My approach to therapy is that I do not have all the answers ( I am not all knowing) and that the client knows what's best for their life. I will smile, laugh and joke. I will also challenge, encourage and celebrate you. I see it as a journey and we will work together to create our own dynamic. How we relate to each other is the (I believe) core to the success of therapy.

I’m an integrative therapist which essentially means that I draw upon different ways of working according to what you need, and I tailor my approach to suit those needs.

I am person-centred at my core, my approach is allowing the client to lead on their own exploration of their thoughts and feelings while I feel it is my responsibility to create an environment to enable you to explore – you are the expert in your life
